The last couple of years when we talk to the Hunt's after the 4th of July, the boys have always said it would be so much fun to be there for the fourth. We had the privilege this year. The evening before we went to the car show. Uncle Ben had his WWII Jeep in it. Jake and Liz also had thier dog Casper in the dog show. Casper won the best groomed award. He has a mohawk. Since he won Savanna got to be with him on a float during the parade.
We were awaken at 6:00 by the emergency vehicles going though the town. That was a little early. The parade started at 8:30. Jason drove Ben's jeep in the parade and Ethan and Eli were in the back throwing candy. They loved doing that. Ande, Lincoln, Jack and Afton were the candy getters. They were really quick.
After the parade we had breakfast. Than back to town to celebrate. The kids enjoyed the inflatables. Ethan and Eli loved the fighting one(see the bottom pictures).
We had a nice BBQ at Dave's that evening. Esther and I went home for some R&R while everyone else went and saw the fireworks.
