Easter

We had a fun Easter.  It was nice that it was during Conference weekend.  My family has an tradition that we go to my parents and watch it on there on their t.v.  I am not sure what I was more excited for-watching conference or being with the family.  I love being with Roxann's family, my parents and Landon. (We missed you Hans!)  As we packed up to make the "move in" to the Anderson's, we were a bit worried because we did not plan too many activities for the kids.  Most years, we spend quite a bit of time making sure we have things to color, etc.  Never fear though, Minnesota weather pulled through better than it ever has.  It was the warmest conference I can remember.  We rarely saw them during conference, as they had "a garden to dig up and get ready for plants."  They love dirt and we soooo need a house so that they can dig something other than our townhome's grass.
Here are the kids on Easter morning.  Ethan was so excited he woke up 3 times through out the night (starting at 1:00 am) to tell us the Easter bunny had come.   Each time we said, "great, go back to bed".  The excitement was cute.  The Easter Bunny brought ties, candy, bubbles, shoes and fishing poles.  Who knew the Easter Bunny was into fishing?  The boys both got fishing poles and ties.  They can't wait to go fishing.  Ande loved her bubbles and shoes.  She loves shoes.  What a girl.

The Easter bunny hid our eggs both at our house and outside at Grandpa's house.  Here are the kids ready to start the Easter egg hunt.

And they are off!!   Ethan ran around so fast that he missed a lot.  Each kid could find one green egg which had a dollar bill in it.  As soon as Ande realized what was in her egg, she folded it up and shoved it into her wallet - only 2 years old and already knows how to save!!! (or is this in preparation of going shopping?)

With all the time we spent together there was lots of time for cousin love!!!

Well it was a great Easter.  Early that morning we had a great message with the kids about Christ and the attonement.  I am grateful for Christ and the Attonement. It is wonderful that we can each strive to be a little better each day.  I am grateful for this time of year to reflect a little more on the Attonement.
