Ande's Birthday

We'll Ande's finally turned one. The first six months of her life were so hard for us that we thought she'd never grow up and be good for us. She has! Now she is the cutest, prettiest, funniest little angel. We totally love her and her great personality.


As you can see, she definitely enjoys the paper more than the present. So, to all those out there that got her a present, Ande says "Thanks for the paper!"


We decided to go for cupcakes for the first birthday of Ande. She seemed to be hesitant at first. Eventually she grabbed right for the frosting and then seemed quite irritated that the frosting was on her hands. She had to get her hands clean and really it seemed like she did not enjoy her cake as much as the boys at her age. Maybe its the girl in her.

Although Ande has been off to a slow start, here are some stats at BDay #1...

Length: 29 Inches - 50%
Head: 17.5 inches - 40%

Weight: 17 lbs 12 oz - a wopping 6%tile (much better than always being below the charts.)
