Kids say the darndest things...

The following conversation happened as Eli is getting ready for preschool. Sarah went though the schedule of the day. Since preschool is at a Lutheran Church, they have bible story time. Eli thinks about this for a little while, then asks "so, that means that I can feel the Holy Ghost at preschool!" Ethan then jumps in and mentions, "yea Eli, and if they ask you if you believe in Jesus, you tell them 'YES.'"

ETHAN- After a short discussion of which church is true, we mentioned to our kids that sometimes people call us Mormons. To this Ethan responded, "We're not Mormons, we're humans!"

ETHAN- When I grow up I want to marry my sister.

ETHAN-Upon seeing a Muslim woman at a pay booth for parking, Ethan asked, "Is that woman a queen?"

ELI - At 2:00 in the morning comes and mumbles something next to my bed. It takes me a few minutes to understand, but he was saying, "forgot prayer, dad." So, my son and I said prayer together at that early hour and then he went down to his bed and slept the rest of the night.

ETHAN
"Do we get snack in kindergarten?"

ETHAN
When Sarah told Eli that he could not dunk his PB sandwich in milk, even though she was, Ethan said that the Holy Ghost was gone. And, in order to get it back, we had to allow him and Eli to dunk their sandwiches.

ELI
After pooping in his underwear, Eli exclaimed "Hooray!!!"

ETHAN
When asked why he was picking his nose, replied "because that is what uncle Phil taught me."

ELI
Why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why

ETHAN...
We were on our way to the parade and he saw a float driving down the street he says" there a thing that carries cheerleaders"

ETHAN...
"When I sing that song about the temple I feel the spirit"

ELI
"I don like fireworks, want go home"

ELI
"You know what Ande say me 'aaahhhhhhhhaaaaahhhhh'."

ELI
"Time for Ande fer-li-zer," referencing Ande's nebulizer.
