Soccer

Ethan has been in soccer for the last 6 weeks. He has been having a lot of fun. It was twice a week. Once school started it was hard because it seemed like our weeknights were so busy. I can't imagine having more than one kid in an activity at a time. Soon enough we will find out though.

Ethan had a great time with his teammates, a lot of the kids on his team go to his elementary so that was nice for him to know other kids when school started. He had a great coach. Every time he was on the field, he was smiling as he played. He made a great goalie (as long as he could stay away from the flags). He was OK at the other positions, but he'd get so excited, instead of running and dribbling the ball downfield, he did this modified skip/jump which was not really that effective for kicking.
We took his shirt to the local sports store and they printed his name and number on it. Ethan choose 100. It barely fit on the back of his shirt. Eli says that when he is in soccer his number will be 1,000,000 - good luck on that one Eli!

Ande was a great cheerleader. She would pay close attention when Ethan was playing. We even taught her to say "go blue." It was pretty cute.

  1. That is pretty cute. It is so much fun to see our kids grow up. I wish we lived closer but it is so nice to see the pictures of your kids. Tell Ethan I like the number 100, and yes Eli good luck with 1,000,000.
