So last couple of days I have been wondering if Ethan was turning 5 or 15. He wanted to call Eric's bike shop and see if they had some parts for his bike. Well we let him look on the Eric's web page he did that for a couple of hours. The morning of his birthday we let him open a present. He got a bell for his bike. We told him to go and see if it fits his bike and when he opened the garage he saw his new bike. He had this shocked look on his face. He was so excited about it. He is very close to taking his training wheels off.
We gave Ethan some choice of things he could do on his birthday and he choose to go canoeing. They went canoeing at Cleary lake. Jason said they enjoyed the first 20 minutes but the last 20 was a bit of a struggle.

Happy Birthday Ethan! What a cool new bike. Sounds like you had a great 4th of July. Your lucky kids were asleep for the fireworks. Then you can enjoy them. What a long parade though. I'm impressed your kids made it through. You have good kids.
