house. First, we painted.
.
Next, it was time for new couches (thanks tax return).
Getting new couches meant that we needed to get rid of the old couches. So, we have this great neighbor who allowed us to go over and burn the couches. The fire was incredibly hot and was quite a bit of fun to watch. We did learn one lesson - Never allow your couches to catch fire in your house, they go up way fast! Ethan and Eli were very excited about it. In fact, we dropped the couch off a few nights before and it was all they could talk about.
Finally, it was time to update the old table (wedding gift from about 7 years ago). Basically it started with Jason wanting to clean the table, then he realized that it was a little loose, so he tipped it upside down and tightened the bolts. Once done, he noticed how worn out it was and so he took some sandpaper to it. What do you know, after a few days and a lot of elbow grease, we got an entire new table and chairs.
Finished pictures of the table and chairs will come, but our camera just seemed to break down :( so you'll have to wait on that one.
