Fall Camping

When we came home from Utah this summer we bought Jason's parents camping trailer home with us.  We had been so busy with moving that we hadn't had an opportunity to use to yet.  We wanted to go before it got to cold.  It was a perfect weekend to camp, a little crisp in the morning but it warmed up nice.  We went to Forestville/ Mystery cave.  It took us a hour longer to get there than excepted.  We relied on our GPS to much.  I just wrote down the address and we left.  Well the GPS took us to the wrong end of the state park and the bridge was closed.  The next way we tried to get there the road was closed.  We ended up getting there in the dark.  We were so glad we didn't have to put up a tent.

The kids slept on one side.
Esther slept on the other side just below us.  She made her way up to us both nights and slept with us.

We are having Hot chocolate and Oatmeal inside before we go out to the crisp fall weather.

A picture inside the Mystery cave.  We went on a very fun and informative tour.  The boys asked a lot of questions.  Everyone liked seeing the bats hanging from the ceiling.

I want to go camping during the fall every year the leaves were beautiful.  I love exploring nature.  The bees were pretty annoying   Ande got stung on one of our hikes.  That was pretty dramatic.  Eli said he thought he was next.  He got stung twice on each side of his shoulder blades while eating lunch.  He was really brave.  Essie was afraid of our hiking backpack.  She was screaming so loud we finally had to take her out so we could have a peaceful hike.  It a good thing we bought the bike trailer too.
