Esther Marie Hunt

This afternoon we welcomed into the world Esther Marie Hunt.  She weighed in at 8 lbs 7 oz, was 21" long and was born at 11:11 am.

She was due on Monday, December 20th.  Usually Sarah has come early, so we have been waiting for this girl for a while.  Ethan and Eli could not understand why our baby did not come on the 20th and every morning would wake up, come to our room and express their disappointment that we were still there.

Christmas was really nice, we came home all relaxed and put the kids into bed.  We had worked out with the doctor that we would be starting an induction on Monday.  As Sarah thought about that and how we would work out the care for the kids, she realized that Ande would be going to St. Cloud and would not be here to first see the baby with her brothers on Monday.  So, she prayed that Ande could be there with the family and 1.5 hours later, her water broke.  We entered the hospital around 2am.  The labor was OK and Sarah is recovering well.

We did not find out what sex the baby would be before birth and all of us are so happy to have another girl.  Now we have two girls and two boys.  We had a few names in mind, but once she was born, we knew she was Esther.  Sarah first heard this name in the Orlando FL temple last year (it was a workers name) and has loved it ever since.  Welcome to the world Ester!!!
